Thanks to the MAXIMA mobile app, you can always have your mobile device ready to scan the QR code, which will let you pay for the purchase.
The QR code will be displayed on the screen of the checkout device. After you scan it, it will open a new window, in which you can pay for the purchase.
You will receive a notification if the payment is successful.
The app also allows you to create a virtual THANK YOU card and to link it to the app. This will allow you to pay for the purchase without using the plastic card.
